our family

In the late 40s, while Gene Crawford was only 19 years old, he set out to build an operation that would live on for generations to come. He bought land just outside of Rebecca, Georgia, which is now known as Crawford Cattle Company. Gene started as a hobby rancher, and by the early 70s, he grew his operation into a finishing feedlot that supplied packing houses in the southeast U.S. His family takes pride in what he built for them to this day. Gene instilled Godliness, a hard-work ethic, and an entrepreneurial spirit in his boys, Scott and Phillip.

Needless to say, his legacy lives on today.
