BEHIND THE BEEF
Meet the faces behind Crawford Cattle Company. Our beef is born, raised, fed to finished, and processed just 15 minutes from our Farm at a USDA-inspected facility.

What does locally sourced beef mean to you? Here's what it means to us:
-
Local means having an eye on that calf from birth until its processing date.
-
Local means quality over quantity, always.
-
Local means beef you purchase from our farm doesn't come from a feedlot.
-
Local means beef you purchase from our farm wasn’t bought at a stockyard.

If you're looking for local, pasture-raised, antibiotic-free, grass-fed, grain-finished beef... you want CCC BEEF.

"We implement the best cattle handling practices, not only because it's good business - it's simply the right thing to do."

OUR STORY
In the late 40s, while Gene Crawford was only 19 years old, he set out to build an operation that would live on for generations to come. He bought land just outside of Rebecca, Georgia, which is now known as Crawford Cattle Company. Gene started as a hobby rancher, and by the early 70s, he grew his operation into a finishing feedlot that supplied packing houses in the southeast U.S. His family takes pride in what he built for them to this day. Gene instilled Godliness, a hard-work ethic, and an entrepreneurial spirit in his boys, Scott and Phillip.
Needless to say, his legacy lives on today.
